House Build

This project began with a simple need: the clients were welcoming their mother into their home, but their existing 2 bedroom bungalow wasn’t big enough for the whole family. They needed more space, additional bedrooms and a layout that would allow everyone to live comfortably while giving their mother her own independence.

The result was a complete transformation into a 7 bedroom home.

A fully self-contained annex was created on one side of the property, featuring two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and downstairs WC. This was completed first, allowing the client’s mother to move in as soon as possible.

The main home was then extended with a new first floor containing four bedrooms, including an en-suite, while a further bedroom, toilet and shower were created within the loft.

To work within the client’s budget, the project was completed in stages, prioritising the key bedrooms, heating and annex. Our team also worked to make the property watertight before the colder weather, bringing in additional support and working weekends where needed.

The transformation has made a significant difference to the family, providing the space, comfort and independence they needed. We look forward to returning to complete the final phase of this impressive home transformation.
